What's Left
Orlando, Florida
1966-1967

Three guys who went to the same high school in Orlando started playing together at a neighbor's house for fun and decided they were getting good enough to add a bass player. I left a note at our local music store and they contacted me to join. We started gaining our experience at parties and then became the unofficial house band of the Ocoee, Fl youth center. We traveled in central Florida for mostly youth center gigs. Band fell apart after we fired our lead guitarist and I quit.

Comments:
There was a popular group in Central Florida in the mid 60's to early 70's called "We The People". They were very popular and you can still buy a double CD of all their original songs. They are popular with garage band fans of that era. They had several local hits that came quite close to national hits. I believe two of the original members are still in the music business.

Where are they now?

Our keyboard player who was then just 14 years old and very talented has switched to guitar and now still plays here in Orlando. His band is called Blues to Soul and they have cut some CD's. They do all original material written and sung by the lead guitar player Tim Nielson. The remainder of us have all become regular working stiffs. I still on occasion will play at home for fun.
