Formed in 06/64 with
Andy from "Bobby and the Ascots" Joe lived across
the street and was taking guitar lessons, so when
the Beatles came on the scene, why not? We were
all used to singing doo-wop, so we put it aside to
crank out some sounds. In North Jersey, at that
time, Motown was more popular than the Beatles or
the Stones or any English Band. So we filled a need
for live entertainment. Our High School had not
had a live act in 10 years. Andy, Joe, Ken D, and
Richie were all Class of '66, so, with Nam hanging
over our heads, Ken D and Richie enlisted in the
Marines. Ken L departed for the "Psychedelic
Crayon" and we picked up Ray Mealie from "Pontius
Pilate and the Nail Drivers" of East Rutherford NJ.
We kicked around various non-alcoholic venues
since we were all too young, played parties and
benefits. We played at the late Palisades
Amusement Park in June1966, our biggest audience
at that time. But the draft and all that %$#@!
broke us up.

After we all

bars etc until marriage and disco killed the
music.
