The Upbringings
Harlan, Iowa

1967-1970
Started in 67, played just about every day after school, spent all our spare time figuring out songs. Was great fun and when everybody else was into sports, we were immersed in tunes. Band disintigrated in 1970 when Randy went off to Military school in Kansas, followed by me a year later. Other bands evolved down the road but this was always the favorite for me. Sort of like a first girlfriend!!
