We came together
sophomore year in HS - started jamming before
rehersals for school musical (Bye Bye Birdie) which
transfered to the Raisanen basement after the wrap
party (our first gig). Woodshedding all of Junior
year and began to play out the summer of 1970 -
starting with a free gig outdoors for the Northern
Michigan University sponsored band camp. es, we
played at a band camp and it wasn't anything like
American pie - but you could hear us on the other
side of campus! Frat parties and school dances, a
couple of bar gigs and a lot of
fun.

Comments:
Wouldn't change a
thing - we had a ball and met tons of nice people -
got a bit of the 'long hairs' guff in some of the
back waters we played, but everybody did. The drum
set turns 40 in spring of '06 and they still get
put to use time to time.
