Popular in the Downriver Area of Detroit for being a "power trio" with hammering original material, Thunderhead Railway attracted a dedicated following culminating in an outdoor concert in Grosse Isle, MI, of about 2000 people.

Roy Horton still plays drums in the Detroit area, Jeff Nelson retired from music and still lives in Lincoln Park with his family, Tim Gawlinski plays with country and western bands in Melvindale, MI and Mike Heath is a writer living in northern Michigan
