We were very accomplished in intricate pop arrangements (compared to many of the other bluesier combos).
All members were students at Madison High School

Black leather vests, purple satin puffy-sleeved shirts, white jeans, black knee boots

St. Joseph's, 16 Aug 1967 (grand prize for winning a Battle of the Bands)

Don't recall ever playing Hell

Comments:
The Taxmen reunited to jam in May 1999 at Myron's; now we will be playing together again for a large MHS reunion in our original gymnasium on Oct 5 2002! More info on the band can be found here:

Where are they now?
R. Stevie Moore moved to NJ to become an underground home recording phenom, Billy Anderson runs a home studio in Nashville, Mark Clifton lives near Knoxville, Myron lives in Hendersonville and works as a pharmacist, Danny Andrews lives in Texas.
