Stan and the Capris

Music was always in our soul. Started out by lip syning to records in home basement using cigar made guitars and mop buckets for drums. My mother would hit the ceiling when she'd fill her mop bucket with water only to have it all leak out because Frank banged another hole in it.

Frank Malia - Vocals/Lead Guitar
Joe Coco Gawrylik - Vocals/Guitar
Jim Dunlap - Vocals/Keys
Bobby Green - Drums

Influences:
Beatles, Stones, Elvis, Everly Brothers, all the British Invasion groups.

Equipment:
Guitars (Hagstrom, Kent,), Drums (Gretsch), Keys (Farfisa), Mics-(Shure), PA - An old Bogen nicknamed BLOOM (still have it).

Rehearsal Space:
Living room of parents house, Drummers Dad's dress factory lunch room, Inside an old Van.

Band Vehicles:
1959 Ford Fairlane station wagon.

Fashion Statement:
Suits

Best Gig:
TV appearance on WNEP TV. Felt like stars.

Gig from Hell!:
There really were none.

Last Gig:
Can't remember

Comments:
We all still remain friends. Man, those were the days.
Stan later went on to play in the groups Flesh, and

Stan (still writing...songs and screenplays), Frank (professional hairdresser), Bobby (owner of Greens Electronics), Joe Coco and Jim (both living in the same town as myself but I am unsure of their work)
