The Revised Edition
Detroit, Michigan

1966-1967

The band was formed after Keith was jilted by his original group effort "Action Plus". Bass players were in demand so he bought the Framus and slid into the fledgling Revised Edition. Personalities never really meshed however and the band fell apart after a year or so.

Personnel:
Bill West - Lead Guitar
Carl Kosinski - Drums
Tim DiTuleo - Rhythm Guitar
K.P. Buckley - Bass/Vocals

Influences:
The Animals, Chuck Berry, The Byrds, Blues Magoos, Kinks, Rockabilly and The Yardbirds

Setlist Sample:
All Day And All of the Night, Oh Carol, Mr. Spaceman, Dizzy Miss Lizzy, We Ain't Got Nothin' Yet, It's My Life and a variety of loud original instrumental "Selections".

Equipment:
Gretsch Tennesean, Framus Star Bass, Harmony Rocket, Sivertone "Twins", Fender Deluxe Reverb (sigh), Kent Drums w/Zidjian cymbals.

Rehearsal Space:
Mostly Carl's garage and everyone's basement on prescribed rotation.

Band Vehicles:
1960 Buick Electra 225 Convertible, 1957 Chevrolet 210 Coupe, 1962 Comet wagon.

Fashion Statement:
Striped (French) T-shirts, White or Light Blue Levis, Flag Brother's boots, various scarfs and hip accessories.

Best Gig:
A High School Sorority Dance Party. The band performed well that night and REALLY impressed the girls for some reason. Our first near-groupie experience! Ah yes,the girls!

Gig from Hell!:
A rainy Saturday afternoon "Battle of the Bands" at a local youth club called "The Mump". Our new equipment got soaking wet (so did we) and our performance was terrible. In addition to that we were severely scrutinized by all of the "Rich Kid" groups of the metropolitan area.

Last Gig:
A private party in the Suburbs. Very uneventful and I was ready for the next musical project by that time anyway.

Comments:
Wish we had taken a few snap shots of the band. It would add so much to our brief little story.
That was a great time to be a kid, eh?!

Where are they now?
Unfortunately, due to the rift and breakup, the lads never really stayed in touch beyond
those wacky high school days. K. P. Buckley lives in Chapel Hill, NC and still
performs professionally on a semi-regular basis.

K.P. Buckley with a recent acquisition!
