Peppermint Hush
Saginaw, Michigan

1968-1970

The band was originally a duo with Bassist Tim Girard and Rod Paquette practicing in Rod's basement then they called Mike Sheets up for Drums and needed a lead Guitarist. Mike at the time was hanging out with David Graham at school and Dave played lead Guitar. Next they needed an organist and we used to go to Sebald's Bakery to buy donuts and it so happened we made mention of it and Mr. Sebald mentioned his son Dave. Then last but not least we needed a vocalist and Rod knew a guy in the neighborhood by the name of Jerry Boltz. Thats how the Peppermint Hush was founded.

Comments:
The Band was like family. When we would get done we would go to Sebalds Bakery at 3AM cause that's when they would be baking for the next day. Mr Sebald was like our 2nd father. He made sure no one was getting into trouble.
Kids nowadays will never know what it's like to have a Daniel's Den to go see your favorite star or band and to be that close to the stage. To learn from the best musicians around!
