Originally formed in
1965 as "Toad and the Croakers" featuring Ronnie
Hipp - vocals, George Lewis - bass, Harvey Leslie -
guitar, Malcolm Cullen - guitar and Terry Hawkins
on drums. In 1966, changed their name to "Mothers
Own Elecrtified Fuzz Band" , and then eventually
became "Johnny Moonbeam" from about 1970-1972.
Played the circuit at southern
universities.
