The Limits, one of
Eastern PA's first garage/Brit influenced bands,
sprung up in Allentown, PA in late 1964. Lots of
under 21 clubs and colleges. There were a lot of
other great bands in the area like King's Ransom,
Balladmongers, Uproar, and of course Jay & the
Techniques. The Limits stressed vocal harmonies and
a tight stage show, combining Brit and R&B.
