Goulds
New Madrid, Missouri
1961-1966

We all went to school in New Madrid Mo. Billy Blue and myself were playing together in the 3rd or 4th grade, playing his uncle Pete's Blues guitar...songs like "Going Down the Road Felling Bad". Bill Boyd grew up with us and we didn't know his school band classes would impress us until later when we realized he could play drums, and was very good. Randy did not come along until much later. He grew up with us, but didn't develop an interest in music until high school, in fact he could not even play when we started so we just kept him turned off so no one could hear him. Randy went on to become a great bass guitar player and hooked up with some very good blues bands.
