The band was formed
by Doug MacIntyre who was from Waterford, Mi. He
later mover to Portland, Ore. and came back into
town in 1964 excited about forming a band. Larry
Albright, Billy Coleman, Johhny Pouch and Jerry
McCall were all friends and all played well enough
to try to form a group. We got together three
nights a week at my house in Wolverine Lake, Mi.
for over six months, putting together an odd
collection of abount 15 songs. Our first gig was a
house party in Walled Lake, Mi. where a hundred
kids showed up. They loved out music and we played
again at the same house the next week=end, where
300 people, and the police, showed up. We were
ticketed for disturbing the peace. The word got
around from those people and we played parties and
sock-hops all summer. Our first real gig was at
the 300 Lounge in Pontiac, Mi. palying on tues,
wed, thurs. Bob Segar played on the week-ends at
the same lounge and we got to know him. He liked
us enough to tell other club owners and within the
first year of our forming, we were on our way to
playing other popular clubs. We were together as a
group for about two years. Our demise came at the
hands of the draft board who took Doug and Billy.
