The Delmarzs Newbloomfield, Pennsylvania 1968-1969    All of us went to the same highschool, some of us were out of school, others were still in school when we formed. About three months after that we got our first gig, only problem...no big amp for that night's gig. So that night I came with a big Silvertone with six ten inch speakers. Now I'm the main man for the night. Our lead singer Steve would crush  onions in a hankerchief get down on his knees and cry real tears when singing the slow song Valarlie...the girls loved it. We played for the fun and exitement at clubs, high school hops, fire halls, movie theaters and dance halls plus private gigs. Money was not good split six ways but it was still fun getting paid to play. Best Gig: Being the start off band at WIOO radio station and at the end of our set found out we had to play the main event because a big group from Philly "The Emperors" with a big hit ''Karata'' could not make the show because their bus broke down. We stayed and played and everyone had a good time. We had to play a few songs more than once...no one cared.
