Cold Heat Pelham, New Hampshire 1968-1969    During our time together we hung out as friends all the time. We knew each other before the band but came together through our interest in music. As we learned music, we practiced as a band. A great reason to get together and have fun.  Personnel: Don Viera - Lead Guitar Phil Frezzette - Rhythm Guitar John Hunt - Bass Don Colby - Drums. Influences: Beatles, Animals, Led Zeppelin Setlist Sample: We Got To Get Out Of This Place, Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying, Midnight Hour. Equipment: On rhythm, I used a 3 pickup hollow body Harmony Rocket with a Rheeme Califone Amp. Rehearsal Space: John Hunt's garage. Band Vehicles: Different loaners Fashion Statement: None listed Best Gig: Church Coffee House because of the chicks John and I met. Gig from Hell!: Church Coffe House because John and I had to hitchhike home at 2AM. Last Gig: Birthday Party in Lowell, Mass Comments: We had our 35th Reunion in 2004. Played some of our old stuff and some new stuff too. It was a great time. Went out for dinner later that day. It's weird, everyone got old...but me.      Where are they now? Winter, 2005 Don Viera went on to form the rock band Awaken and play the Northeast Beach Circuit. Phil became sound man for Awaken. John played bass for his band The Catch.
