We had a lot of
great gigs . Tons of support with big crowds
100-300 people type nights. But one time when we
first started and only had enough songs for 2 sets
we played at a local middle school in Jessup , Md
and the young girls just went wild. I remember one
of the teachers saying " You may not make much
money but you will leave here with smiles on your
faces". Boy, was he right!
Pirates Den, La
Plata ,Md. We had a Manager that booked us in a
topless bar. No one was 16 and so Greenie's Mom had
driven us and dropped us off only this time she
brought his little sister along and decided to see
the show since we were an hour and a half from
home. She really did see a show that
night!
The band lost and
gained neww members and changed names many times
over a period of 8 - 10 years with old members
frequently coming back for a night or two. John (
Greenie) and myself were the two stable characters
in the band.
John Greenbank lost his battle with stomach cancer and is survived by His Wife, Kathy, a great Son and Daughter. John Bowman still plays out occasionally and Owns and runs ABC Countertops in Columbia , Md John has 2 beautiful daughters and a new granddaughter, Emma. Ralph Stonebreaker is living in Virginia with his wife Mary, a Son and Daughter. Kenny West was seen with his wife in Marland a few years ago and was doing well. Kenny was our "Harley"
