The Coaevils
Hillsborough, California
1965-1967

We all met in grade school. All of us as kids had transistor radios, dug the music of the time, played in the the school orchestras, etc. Got our first electric guitars as pre teens upon entering the 7th grade, decided to form a band after school, played Louie Louie and it clicked. In about two weeks we played our first party up in Hillsborough, then got a gig opening for a well known high school band up at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club for a big show. We almost got on the Merv Griffin show in 1965. Ended up becoming a staple at many of Crocker Jr. high school dances and playing at private parties, social events...even for our parents parties.
