Indianapolis, Indiana 1966-1968 |
I got a call one night
from Jim asking if I wanted to play drums for them.
I said sure. Joined up with Jim, Dan, Judy,
Dave...we played colleges, parties, wherever we
could around the Indy area. We auditioned at Le
Scene Thanksgiving night 1966. We went over big and
became far and away the favorite band there. Jim
could make a guitar do anything he wanted it
to...well versed in all types of music. Judy was
very good on bass and Dave was solid on rhythm
guitar. Dan was a mix of Jagger/Dylan/Morrison and
I was a very accomplished drummer who lived and
breathed playing. Very unlikely bunch but a very
good group. Personnel: Influences: Equipment:

Can't
remember
There was a disagreement
between Dan and Jim on what kind of music we would do which
eventually led to the breakup...had it not been for that we
stood to have really made a mark on the local music
scene.
Where are they now?
Jim works for Anthem Ins. in Indy and after the Bomarcs went on to play in some very good bands around Indy. Dan still lives in Indy. Lost track of Judy and Dave. Bob went into Navy in 1968. I didn't play with anymore bands but I do still play drums.
