Blue Light
Kirkland, Washington

1966-1968

The band was the combination of the best from two schools, Redmond and Marysville. In addition to trying to be an accomplished musical unit, we were very proficient at choreography (ala The Raiders) and featured very tight harmonies and three superb lead singers. We won the NW Battle of the Bands in 1967. The national competition never materialized. In 1966 The Sydicate of Sound (Hey Little Girl) won the National competition and we hoped to go to Hollywood and win the 1967 contest. We did get $2,000 worth of Vox gear and a contract.
