Apartment 5-D Fort Worth, Texas 1967-1971      The 3 guitar players grew up down the street from each other - in the seventh grade, one got a guitar, then another - then I got a bass and we started playing - picked up a drummer - changed drummers, picked up a lead singer - and never looked back.   Personnel: Greg "Coolie" Thelen - Lead Guitar and Vocals Gary "Sane" Saner - Rhythm Guitar Hal "Greaser" - Bass and Vocals Steve "Abdule" Cohen - Drums George Richards - Vocals Influences: The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Spirit, Yardbirds, The Beatles, Stones, Bee Gees, The Who. Setlist Sample: Purple Haze, Sunshine Of Your Love, Badge, Born To Be Wild, Foxy Lady, I Got A Line On You. Equipment: Fender, Kustom, Gibsons, Vox, Ludwig. Rehearsal Space: Garage mostly...sometimes we could move inside. Band Vehicles: Rented a van. Fashion Statement: Chambray jeans and a solid button down cotton shirt. Best Gig: 9th Grade Talent show - 1st Place - more gigs than we could play. Gig from Hell!: The Barn - Lots of drinking and never got paid. Last Gig: Our 50th Birthday party - last march 2003. Comments: We all played together for the first time in over 37 years last Summer to show our families and friends what we've all been telling them over the last 4 decades - Then, since we all are turning 50 this year, we threw ourselves a 50th birthday party - rented a concert hall provided a buffet dinner for 150 of our friends and families 4 months ago and our next stop on our world tour is going to be in Houston - in November.
