The Amboyds Henefer/Coalville, Utah 1966-1970    First got together in 1966 for the Summit county fair after I moved to this small town when I was 14. Played the fair, Mr. T's Teen Club in Park City Utah, school and church dances all through the state. In 1966 won the battle of the bands for a tri- county area. Lost the State battle of the bands. Silvertone amps Rehearsal Space: Each set of parents took turns putting up with us in garages and living rooms. Band Vehicles: 1959 International Travelall nicknamed the Bat Mobile Fashion Statement: Pretty goofy as you can see from the photo. We did however progress from the Revolutionary War period to more mod and then hippie clothes. Best Gig: Winning the battle of the bands was a big one because we really weren't the best (Maybe second best). Playing on top of a huge water tower for the University in Saint George Utah. Any time we played Mr. T's Gig from Hell!: Church gigs seemed to be a bit drab at the time Last Gig: Wedding gig in Salt Lake City, Utah Comments:        Where are they now? Summer 2009 Everyone, but me still lives in Utah. All, but Blake and Lon live in Summit County still. Steve P. is a Cabinetmaker, Steve W. is a hunting guide I think, Lee Olsen is a bricklayer, Kurt Simister is a building inspector, Billy Larsen works for the county. The other two I'm not sure about.
