Scott , Phil, Jim, Steve and Van from "the Plague". Gary Story from" Zookie and the Potentates". Dave and Rick from various MSU campus bands. Chuck from "The Crestwoods", "The Royal Rockers" and "Jack and The Spades". Yeshua was a street musician in Chicago when we hooked up. Mike Sweeney was active in the Jazz scene when we met him. Rob Ross was our final drummer and his amazing chops and sensitivity kept us fired up.

Influences:
Beatles, Frank Zappa, Rance Allen, Steve Miller, Harry Nilsson, Beach Boys, Funk Brothers (Motown) others too numerous and obscure to mention.

Setlist Sample:
Flying, Caravan, Real Person, Sgt. Peppers, Season of the Witch, Knock on Wood, You're Just to Good to be True, Mother Nature and Father Time.

Equipment:
Fender and West amps, Gibson and Fender guitars. Scott's cut-down B3 organ and Rhodes piano.

Rehearsal Space:
Lots of basements and garages. Whenever and wherever.

Band Vehicles:
The "Boggle Truck" and a couple of very cool converted school busses.

Fashion Statement:
Some very hip outfits including custom made velvet suits, and lots of jeans and t-shirts.

Best Gig:
Too many great gigs to pick one out.

Gig from Hell!:
Some festival near Roscommon, It rained like hell and we never got paid.

Last Gig:
With the Lansing Symphony Orchestra and a Choir of 300 Lansing High School kids.

Comments:
We proved that "Sick and Dangerous Radicals" can still have a lot of fun and eventually become productive members of society. There are lots of photos and many hours of unreleased music in the archives including (3) complete unreleased albums.

Where are they now?
Fall 2003

Scott Durbin is a Chiropractor in Northern CA , Van has a Ph.D. in music and is a professor of music in southern CA, Rick Kalb is a lawyer in Washington DC, Gary Story is a builder in FL and has a new son named Gherig, Chuck and Dave are practicing together working on original Christian music, Dave is a Controls Engineer and Chuck is in the Clinical Engineering dept. at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Mike has a fine restaurant in Holland MI, we will report on the rest as info comes in.
